this is how it looks on Android
@claude can you fix it? it's just that the cat in the fg is a liiitle bigger than it should be.
Pushed. Here's the reply:
Fixed: Android adaptive icon foreground was too large
The issue was that the cat artwork filled about 80% of the foreground canvas width (814px of 1024px), but Android's adaptive icon spec only guarantees the center ~66% stays visible across all launcher mask shapes (circle, squircle, rounded square, etc.). Anything outside that safe zone risks being clipped or just reading as oversized depending on the device/launcher.
I scaled the cat artwork down (to ~64% width / ~52% height) and re-centered it on the same 1024×1024 transparent canvas in
assets/adaptive-icon.png, so it now sits comfortably inside the safe zone with margin to spare.Pushed to branch

Pull request #7 is now open: #7
fix(android): shrink adaptive icon foreground to fit safe zone — merges
claude/fix-android-adaptive-icon-sizeintomain. The branch was already up to date withmain(no rebase needed), containing the one commit that shrinksassets/adaptive-icon.png's cat artwork to ~64%/52% of the canvas so it sits inside Android's adaptive-icon safe zone. Ready for review/merge whenever you're happy with it.@claude okay i just checked it. can you just make it a liiiittle bit more smaller as well again please? it's nearly perfect it's just the ears are still cut off. just a little bit
Fixed: ears still clipping on adaptive icon foreground
The previous pass shrank the cat to 64%/52% of the canvas, which fits the width/height guideline, but I measured the actual furthest opaque pixel from center (the ear tips) and it sat at ~362px, past the 338px safe-zone radius (66% diameter) that circular/squircle launcher masks guarantee to keep visible — so the ear tips were still getting clipped by rounder mask shapes.
I scaled the artwork down another ~13% (trim → resize 87% → re-center on the same 1024×1024 transparent canvas), bringing the furthest point to ~316px, about 22px inside the safe zone with margin to spare.
Pushed as a new commit to the existing branch
claude/fix-android-adaptive-icon-size— PR #7 is already updated with this change, nothing else to open.
