fix(settings): restore the N/A version fallback 
Bareed now sends bundle manifests with the "extra" block, so
Constants.expoConfig?.version resolves correctly and the 0.1 hot-fix
is no longer needed.

A modern, open-source, privacy-first companion for tracking spiritual deeds and fostering mindful practice.

The Story

This project began with a simple problem: a very useful and much-loved daily tracking application was abandoned by the original developer. No updates, no new featuress, no bug fixes. This was fine at first as the app was simple and did the job. But then the app was restricted by Google because it didn't use a recent SDK version.

This project is the answer to this problem. It's an effort to build not just a clone, but a spiritual successor. I aim to capture the essence of what made the original great (its simplicity and focus), while rebuilding it on a modern, robust, and open foundation.

The Philosophy

  1. Privacy: Spiritual journeys are personal. The app operates entirely offline. There are no trackers, no analytics sending your data to the cloud, and no accounts to create. Your data stays on your device, period.
  2. Open and transparent: The entire project is open-source from day one. This invites a community of developers to help build, maintain, and improve the tool for everyone's benefit.
  3. User-centric: Every feature is designed with intention. The goal is to create a seamless and beautiful experience that aids your mindfullness rather than distract you from it.
  4. Built to last: I use a modern, well-supported tech stack to create a stable and maintainable application that can serve the community for years to come.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running:

# clone the repo
git clone https://code.uwayss.com/uwayss/muhsin.git
# install dependencies and run the app
npm install
npm run android # or `npm run ios`
